Children & Youth provider contracts finalized
With a new fiscal year beginning, heads of Schuylkill County’s service departments are finalizing contracts. During a meeting last week, on the request of Children & Youth Department director Kevin Lally the commissioners approved the following contracts:
Purchase of service agreement with per diem rates with Mid-Atlantic Youth Services, Pittston, for secure treatment at $340, intensive open treatment at $284 and secure treatment at $362.
Purchase of service agreement with the law firm of Marshall, Bohorad, Thornburg, Price & Campion, the law firm of Zane, Rossi, Conville and Harley, and attorney Thomas Pellish, each at a monthly retainer of $3,974, with extra expenses at $75 per hour.
Purchase of service agreement with attorney Karen Rismiller and Mary K. O’Conner, each with a monthly retainer of $2,682 plus hearing prep at $100 per hour.
All-Brite Cleaning, Pine Grove, for cleaning service at $18 per hour.
Psychological Associates, Pottsville, for group counseling at $35 per hour, individual and family counseling at $90 per hour and polygraph testing at $400 per test.
Dawn Turitto, Lehighton, for foster parent training at $400 per hour.
Clinical Outcomes, Pottsville, for anger control education at $50 per hour, and abuse assessment at $150 per assessment.
Access Services, Orwigsburg, for travel at $9.90 per quarter hour, mentor/advocate at $20.90 per quarter hour, assessment at $368 per assessment, CAIR program at $10,080 per nine-week group, and specialized foster care at $94.81 per day.
