Christkindlmarkt is this weekend

Schuylkill County Council for the Arts is holding the ninth annual Christkindlmarkt this weekend at 1440 Mahantongo St. in Pottsville.

Hours for the free event are 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Thirty some vendors will be showing their wares throughout the mansion including the Carriage House located in the rear of the grounds.

Food will be sold and served by a local restaurateur in addition to coffees and hot chocolate. Some of the decorations will be provided by local florists.
