Coaldale woman facing DUI count

A Carbon County driver is facing a driving under the influence charge in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said a 61-year-old Coaldale woman was stopped at 6:36 p.m. on Friday along Interstate 78 eastbound in Upper Saucon Township for a traffic violation. She was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest and taken to the county booking center for processing. Charges were filed. Troopers declined to release her name.
