Colleen Mancuso wins re-election
In a hotly contested race for Magisterial District Justice in Monroe County, Republican incumbent Colleen Mancuso has defeated Debby York.
York had previously held the post for 24 years before being unseated by Mancuso in 2011. Mancuso won the election 2,758 votes to York’s 2,012.
District Court 43-3-04 serves Chestnuthill, Eldred, Polk and Ross townships. Mancuso practiced law in Monroe County for more than 20 years as a partner with her husband Michael Mancuso who serves as an Assistant District Attorney for the county.
