Community day planned at Kibler one-room school
The Kibler one-room schoolyard at 6495 Pohopoco Drive, Lehighton, will be the site of community day from 1-3 p.m. Saturday.
Representatives from local groups will be set up to discuss and show their activities and work. Among those participating are the Palmerton Area Historical Society, Big Creek Grange, Valor House, Friends of Beltzville State Park, Palmerton Camera Club and the Carbon County Art League and several others. The public is invited.
Free hot dogs, snacks, drinks and desserts will be available. There is no cost for the event.
