Conservation districts looking for input

The Carbon and Luzerne County Conservation District and the Natural Resources Conservation Service will be holding the annual Local Workgroup Meeting on Wednesday.

The purpose of the meeting is to hear from landowners, farmers and other local conservation partners about what their concerns are and how the organizations can best use their shared resources and funding to address local needs.

The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Nescopeck State Park office. Following the meeting the Luzerne Conservation District will provide lunch for all attendees.
