Crash at 309-895 intersection
Several people were injured Friday afternoon in a crash in West Penn township near the intersection of Routes 309 and 895. One of the cars came to rest in the parking lot of the St. Luke’s Medical Center and the other along the southbound berm of Route 309. The injured were treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning Ambulance and Lehighton paramedics before being transported to a hospital.
