Crash brings down wires in Mahoning

Route 902, Mahoning Drive east in Mahoning township was closed Friday night because of a crash at 9:45 p.m. just west of the intersection with Grist Mill Road.

A motorist traveling west , lost control entering the berm impacting with and snapping off a utility pole. The pole was lying across the roadway with wires down as well.  The Mahoning Valley fire company and Mahoning Valley ambulance responded to the scene. Mahoning township police are investigating the incident.
