Crews save historical building in Jim Thorpe

    A quick response by Jim Thorpe firefighters saved an historic structure. Shortly after 7 p.m. passersby reported smoke coming from the front of the former Mount Pisgah hotel at 300 Center Avenue. One man attempted to remove the front door and its trim. Firemen contained the fire to the front wall of the historic building. No injuries were reported in the incident.
