April 13, 1996 — Jeff Rink pitches six shutout innings to lead Northern Lehigh to a 2-0 Colonial League victory over Catasauqua. Rink allows just three hits and strikes out six in earning the pitching win. D.J. Fox relieves in the seventh and picks up the save. The Bulldogs, coached by Frank Carazo, receive the only run they would need in the first inning on an RBI groundout from Eric Sercheck. Nolehi adds an insurance run in the fifth on Sercheck’s sacrifice fly.
