August 29, 1997 — Keith Blose carries 15 times for 156 yards and two touchdowns to help Northern Lehigh open its season with a 27-10 Colonial League victory over Notre Dame. Blose gets the Bulldogs on the scoreboard first with a 39-yard TD run and adds a 5-yard score later in the contest. Kyle Rehrig throws a pair of touchdown passes, hitting Ryan Van Norman with a 36-yard tally and Mike Gross with a 15-yard scoring toss. The winners, coached by Jim Tkach, also receive 118 yards rushing from Brian Gallagher.
