Wentzel, competing in the Junior Division, claims the 200 Individual Medley in a time of 2:22.5, while also touching the wall first in both the 100 breaststroke (1:09.74) and 100 backstroke (1:07.66). Rich Nunemacher also picks up a pair of individiual victories, taking the Intermediate Division’s 100 IM in 1:16.9 and the 75 backstroke in 55.15. Frank Wentzel adds a first in the Midget Division’s 50 breaststroke, posting a time of 37.84.
