Darryl Neeb earns the pitching win, allowing six hits and four walks while striking out seven in his nine innings of work. Dick Koons and Charlie Koons both finish with a pair of hits and a run scored for the winners, who use a four-run third inning to open the scoring. Lehighton, coached by Leon “Moose” Kunkle, also receive a hit and run from Roger Ulshafer and Dick Koch.
