December 31, 2006 — Six Lehighton and Marian players are named to the Times News Area Football All-Star First Team. Running back and TN Player of the Year Robbie Frey leads the Indians contingent, with Jordan Long (OL), Levi Stern (DL), Sal Caruso (LB), Dillon Vrablic (DB) and Thad Kosciolek (P) also making the squad. Marian players honored include Adam Agosti (QB), Kevin McNavage (WR), Mike Ryan (OL), Matt Mlynek (DL), Travis John (LB) and Chris Decker (DB). Jim Thorpe has five of its players make the team, while Palmerton places four on the first team.
