February 1, 1979 — George Ebbert uses a reversal in the final 20 seconds of his heavyweight bout to pull out a 5-4 decision win and lift Lehighton to a 23-22 Centennial League comeback victory over East Stroudsburg. The Indians, coached by Rollie Alger, drop the first five bouts and trail 19-0 before their big rally. Steve Bottcher registers a 50-second pin at 148 pounds for Lehighton, which also gets wins from Steve Brownmiller (135), Jason Green (141), Keith Sensinger (158) and Bob Leslie (170).
