Schleicher scores 10 of his points during the second quarter as the Slaters use a 21-7 frame to take control of the game. Ed Torbey contributes 17 points, while Merrill Eckhart adds 14. The winners, coached by Lloyd Williams, also receive nine points from Dave Jones. For the Blue Bombers, Jim Oravec, Bob Mlkvy and Fritzinger all finish with eight.
