A balk plates the go-ahead run, while Bill Garrity adds an insurance run with his RBI single. Follweiler, Garrity and Henry Oncheck finish with two hits apiece, with Dean Cunfer adding a hit and two runs. Lansford receives three hits from Bob Piscelli.
