March 16, 2007 — Northern Lehigh graduate Ryan Hluschak posts three straight wins in wrestlebacks to earn All-American status at the NCAA Division 1 wrestling championships. The Drexel 157-pounder starts his run with a 5-2 decision over Lehigh’s David Naskone, and follows that up with a 10-5 victory over Missouri’s Mike Chandler. Hluschak, a three-time PIAA medalist, assures himself of a top-eight finish by defeating second-seeded Brian Stith of Arizona State, 3-1. The former Bulldog becomes just the second Drexel wrestler to gain All-American honors.
