November 1, 1974 — Paul James rushes for 109 yards and three touchdowns on just nine carries to lead Tamaqua to a 40-6 victory over Saint Clair. James breaks loose for a 63-yard scoring run in the first quarter and reaches the end zone from two and four yards out in the second frame. Blue Raiders quarterback Mike Miorelli also throws a pair of touchdowns, hitting Rick Fenstermacher for a 58-yard tally and connecting with Vince Keip on a 40-yard score. The winners, coached by Walt Ligenza, add a 7-yard TD run by Frank Inama in third quarter.
