November 1, 2005 — Marian’s volleyball team rolls to a 3-0 victory over Christopher Dock in the District 11 Class 1A semifinals. Joelle Snyder finishes with a team-high six kills, including four during a 13-0 run during the third game. Cailyn McCullion and Beth Swankoski each add five kills in the 25-9, 25-9, 25-8 victory. Kayla Poluka contributes nine digs and 21 assists for the Fillies, coached by “Doc” Fallabel. The winners, who go on to claim a district title, also receive nine digs from Nicole Leonzi.
