November 16, 1968 — Gary Van Norman throws four touchdown passes and Duke Lilly scores four times as Slatington rolls to a 74-0 victory over Jim Thorpe. Van Norman connects with Karl Andreas on a pair of TD completions, and also hits Lilly and Glenn Parry with scoring tosses. Lilly reaches the end zone on three runs, including one from 61 yards out. Lewis Kern betters the run by Lilly with an 85-yard burst. Robert Hankee adds a TD on an interception return, while a pair of picks by Don Rubright and another by Don Reifinger set up tallies. The Bulldogs, coached by Jack Casselbaum, also receive a TD run from Ron Kuntz.
