November 25, 1933 — Joey George scores a pair of touchdowns and Summit Hill tallies three times in the second quarter to help gain a 24-18 comeback win over McAdoo. After falling behind in the first frame, a long pass to Maxwell Derby sets up George’s 1-yard TD plunge. Karnish then recovers a fumbled punt which leads to Derby’s 3-yard scoring run. Karnish adds his own score later in the period when he recovers DeLaurentis’ blocked punt in the end zone. George completes the scoring for the Hillers, coached by “Turk” Gerber, in the third frame when he reaches the end zone on a 17-yard run.
