Halenar’s bucket midway through the fourth quarter breaks a tie and gives the Colts, coached by “Wink” Gallagher, the lead for good. Halenar hits two more baskets down the stretch and Dennis Boyle adds a field goal and free throw to secure the win. Jack Porter contributes 13 points to the winning effort, while Boyle and Charlie Keer each finish with seven.
