October 14, 1967 — Palmerton rallies from a 12-point deficit to gain a 14-12 victory over Wilson. Walt Konek accounts for both scores for the Blue Bombers, who tally once in the second quarter and again in the fourth frame. Konek gets his team on the board when he takes a lateral from Steve Goidich and races 26 yards to the end zone. The winners, coached by Jim Nonnemacher, take the lead for good when Konek breaks free for an 84-yard touchdown run. Konek also kicks both extra points for Palmerton.
