October 26, 1959 — Al Leonzi accounts for both of his team’s touchdowns to lead Summit Hill to a 14-6 victory over Marian. The Hillers open the scoring in the first quarter when they recover a bad snap on a punt attempt inside the red zone. Leonzi eventually scores from two yards out. The Hillers’ halfback adds an insurance touchdown in the final frame when he breaks loose for a 56-yard scoring run. Fred Hellmund throws for one of the conversions and catches the other extra-point try. For the Colts, Mike Macalush scores on a 2-yard run.
