Dead zones identified in Monroe County

The Monroe County Dead Cell Zone Project has identified many areas in Monroe County with no cell service.

Areas in the Times News region, which have been reported include:

• Back side of Camelback Mountain, between Tannersville and McMichaels

• Areas of Chestnuthill Township, including Effort at the intersection on Toll Road and Jonas Roads

• Eldred Township

• Jonas

• Kresgeville, near the Carbon County line

• Long Pond — Pocono Raceway

• Monroe County business parks

• Neola (parts of Jackson and Chestnuthill)

• Pleasant Valley School District

• Route 115 and Route 209 intersection

• Route 115 at the S-curve just north of the intersection of State Road and Route 115 and south of the intersection of Mountain Road and Route 115

• Route 115 for about 2 miles on either side of the intersection of Route 715 and Neola Road

• Route 115 going downhill near Effort

• Route 115 in Saylorsburg

• Route 33 between Saylorsburg and Wind Gap

• Saylorsburg
