Deadline for Korean Ambassador for Peace Medal application nears
The Veteran’s Affairs Office and the Commissioners of Schuylkill County are holding a Korean Ambassador for Peace Medal Ceremony on Nov. 1 at the Schuylkill County Courthouse.
The Korea Service Medal must be on their DD-214 to be eligible to receive this medal. The Ambassador for Peace Medal is awarded by the Republic of Korea for all that served in the country. All applications must be in the Veterans Affairs by Sept. 15.
