Deadline to register for Lehighton Halloween Parade is Monday
The Lehighton Area Halloween Committee will sponsor its 49th annual parade at 4 p.m. Oct. 19. The rain date is 2 p.m. Oct. 20.
Registration and division assignments will be held at Ninth and Coal streets starting at 2 p.m. Please do not have your group meet in front of the registration table.
You must have a representative of your group register in order to be eligible for a prize. All tractor-trailer floats must be in line by 3 p.m. If the rain date is needed, tractor-trailers must be in line by 1 p.m.
Entry deadline is this Monday.
Paraders are reminded they are permitted to toss candy and gum to the viewers, but cannot stop and perform in front of the judges stand.
No ATVs are allowed.
On a separate piece of paper, include a small bit of information about your group to be announced on TV13.
