Deer blamed for crash
A deer was blamed for a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 12:23 a.m. Sunday along Route 924 in East Union Township, Schuylkill County.
State police at Frackville said James Buchinsky, 24, of Shenandoah, was driving a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound when a deer entered the road in front of him. He lost control of the Jeep, which went onto the east berm and struck a guide rail.
Buchinsky was not injured but the Jeep sustained disabling front-end damage and had to be towed.
