Dem clubs to host Pot Luck Picnic

The Palmerton and Lehighton Area Democratic clubs will host a midsummer pot luck picnic from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Bert Holczman’s Farm, 520 Quarry Road, Ashfield.

Newcomers are welcome.

The clubs will be providing paper goods, ice, lemonade and iced tea. Attendees are welcome to bring their favorite food or drink to share.

While there are some canopies for shade and tables with benches and umbrellas, guests should bring their own lawn chairs. There is also a changing room available for those wishing to take a dip in the pool.
