Two teens were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 9:07 p.m. Oct. 2 on the Tuscarora Mountain in Schuylkill Township, according to state police at the Frackville barracks.

Police said the driver, a 18-year-old Mary D boy, and his passenger, a 17-year-old female from Tamaqua, sustained suspected minor injuries. The boy was transported by the Tamaqua Community Ambulance Association personnel to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury, while the girl was taken to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Miners Campus in Coaldale, by the same ambulance service.

Police said he was driving a 1993 Dodge Ream 2500 pickup south when it went off the road, struck a small embankment and a tree with its front driver’s side. Police said the driver and passenger were trapped in the vehicle until being extricated by firefighters.

The vehicle needed to be towed from the scene.

Police said the driver was charged in the incident.

" a 18-year-old Mary D boy" Must be written by a school tax hating republican moron. It's still a mystery to them that teachers can only teach the teachable and it's the retarded trumpian offspring who drag down the nation's IQ. Bush's "no child left behind" still biting us in the ass.
The errors in this article have NOTHING to do with politics, but about proper grammar. Naturally, an 18-year old is not a boy, nor was he driving a Dodge 'Ream.' This paper has lacked a good proofreader for many years. Please keep the political views where they belong.
