Dining event to benefit Make-A-Wish

Union Publick House in Jim Thorpe will host a dine out fundraiser from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The event is sponsored by the Wild Things softball team and will benefit Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Ten percent of all sales will help to grant the wishes of local children diagnosed with critical illnesses. This event will also feature 50/50 and basket raffles.

This year, the Moms for Make-A-Wish softball league raised enough to grant 23 wishes for local children.
