District 11 has postponed tonight’s basketball playoff games.

The Panther Valley boys and Weatherly girls were both scheduled to play for district titles, but they will have to wait until Saturday.

The Panthers, seeded No. 2 in Class 2A, will now take on top-seeded Moravian Academy at Easton Area Middle School at 3 p.m. The game is the middle one of a tripleheader.

Before the PV contest, the Notre Dame-Green Pond and Pine Grove girls will battle for the 3A championship at 1:30 p.m. Following the Panthers’ title game, the Bethlehem Catholic and Lower Moreland boys will meet in the District 1/11 Class 4A Subregional final at 5 p.m.

The Weatherly girls, also a No. 2 seed, will now face Nativity for the 1A championship tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at Martz Hall. Like Panther Valley, Weatherly’s game will be the middle contest of a tripleheader.

The first game at Martz, which will begin at noon, features Tamaqua playing Wilson in the boys Class 4A consolation game. The Blue Raiders are the No. 3 seed, while the Warriors are seeded fifth. After the Wreckers play, the North Schuylkill and St. Basil Academy girls face off at 3:30 p.m. in the District 1/11 Class 3A Subregional final.
