Don’t ignore effect of infrasound
In a recent letter to the Times News (July 25, 2019), a representative of Broad Mountain Wind states that noise levels for the project are expected to be “very low,” and in some locations the proposed wind turbines will be inaudible most of the time. The letter conveniently leaves out any mention of infrasound.
There is no question that industrial wind turbines generate low frequency sound that is below the threshold of human hearing (20HZ), which is produced by the movement of the blades through the air as well as from the turbine machinery. Infrasound is perceived by humans as a vibration, often accompanied by feelings of pressure in the eardrums and ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
Symptoms of exposure to infrasound include headaches, sleep problems, concentration or memory problems, disequilibrium, dizziness and nausea. These symptoms experienced daily over a long period can have a profound impact on a person’s quality of life. Infrasound cannot be attenuated by means of physical barriers. The perception of infrasound is the same whether one is inside a home with doors and windows closed or out in the open.
Ear plugs, headphones, etc. are useless against infrasound. Long-term exposure to infrasound can damage the inner ear and lead to hearing loss. With insufficient data on turbine-induced infrasound, residents and stakeholders are lacking key information necessary for making an informed decision about this project.

This sound argument may be moot. There isn't a legislator who'll hear my gripe over these scooter vermin revving big bore Harley's with Straight Pipes.

Anyway, it's important that we all remember, word definitions change (a progressive thing).
Keeping that in mind, let's look at your injected word... "Health".
According to World Health Organisation, it now represents a state of complete physical, mental and social well being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Look it up Joe, as one who hugs the globalist elites, you ought to become familiar with this dictionary used by those elites. If the presence of a turbine should cause an individual to experience disorders such as sleep loss, fatigue, nausea, headaches, tinnitus, disturbances of balance, dizziness, stress, depression, irritability, anxiety, perturbed steroid hormone secretion, hypertension and socio-behavioural changes... well... Come on Joe... They would have health concern.
I couldn't care less what they do, but since you're the one so quick to be the word police here, I thought I'd throw that "Brown Note" back your way Ziggy.
Besides, this whole concept was disproved a long time ago, reference the link I provided.
when speaking of Climate. Quality science is done by careful observation and thoughtful debate. If you step outside of the general "scientific" consensus, you'll likely loose the pulpit (lectern). It's not my theory, it's fact. There are many being banned from even speaking at many universities, simply because they fall outside the consensual narrative. Another thing to consider is funding. You do your science, but it better line up with the expectations of those providing the grant.
"Blinding me with science-science"
I am kind of busy right now, and I didn’t get a chance to do any research, but, here goes off the top of my head: Liquid Oxygen (LOX) mixed with Hydrogen is the main propellant formerly on the Space Shuttle and other rocket boosters. The LOX/Hydrogen is pretty explosive and requires special handling. The LOX has to be frozen to be used properly to as close to Absolute Zero. Moisture is involved in the freezing process. Water is injected on to the launch pad to reduce the extreme temperature of the launch pad. A rocket is un-throttleable, so, once it is ignited...get out of the way. The Space Shuttle (I miss it) got the best and worst fuel economy standards of any vehicle in history. I remember 11-12k/lbs per second at launch to next to nothing during orbital maneuvering. The Space Shuttle was awesome. America is great.
Have a good day.
