The engagement of Drew Young of Nesquehoning and Bejtullah Mehmeti, also of Nesquehoning, was announced by their parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Paul Young, Hazleton, and Denise Lloyd, of Tamaqua. She is a graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School. She is employed as a nurse at St. Luke’s Miners Campus in Coaldale.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Darlene Mehmeti of Lansford, and the late Bejtullah Mehmeti Sr. He is a graduate of Panther Valley High School, and is employed as a police officer in Allentown.
