Driver cited in Monroe crash

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 5:42 p.m. on Aug. 10 along Anchorage Road (Route 384), in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said James D. Blobner, 78, of Saylorsburg, was operating a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado truck southeast while Richard J. Flynn, 55, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze northeast. Troopers said Blobner’s vehicle entered Flynn’s lane of travel while negotiating a left hand curve and then a collision occurred.

No one was reported injured. Troopers cited Blobner for the crash.
