Driver escapes injury in West Penn crash
West Penn Township police are investigating a crash along Route 309 on Tuesday. The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. just south of the Tamaqua border. It appeared a male was driving the unit and escaped injury. The vehicle entered the berm of the north bound lanes rolling onto its side against an embankment.
