Driver flees scene of Lower Towamensing crash

The driver of a Nissan vehicle that crashed at 2:11 a.m. Friday on the Forest Inn Road in Lower Towamensing Township fled the scene, according to state police at Lehighton.

Police said the vehicle was northbound on the road when it traveled off the roadway and struck and destroyed a fence and fence support posts in front of a residence at 4045 Forest Inn Road.

Had the same thing happen in front of my neighbors house last week on Little Gap road near the fairgrounds, seems to be a regular occurrence around here. I'm thinking these guys were either under the influence or had warrants our for their arrest.
