Driver injured in crash on Fireline Road

A male driver was injured Monday morning in a crash along Fireline Road in Bowmanstown.

The crash occurred just after 9 a.m. as he was traveling west in the seven hundred block.

He failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway crossing the roadway, entering the left berm impacting with the side of a dwelling.

The driver was treated at the scene then transported to a local hospital. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
