Driver injured when car lands on railroad tracks
A driver sustained head injuries after his car landed on railroad tracks in Nesquehoning. Nesquehoning Police Chief Sean Smith said the crash happened after 2 p.m. on Monday along Route 54 near Ametek. The driver, who has not been identified, lost control of his vehicle and went off the road, struck the guide rail and went down the embankment before coming to rest on the train tracks.
