Driver issued citation after Route 115 collision

Sanjay Toolsee, 41, of Albrightsville, was cited after a collision at 5:22 p.m. Sept. 10 at the intersection of Route 115 and Merwinsburg Road in Chestnuthill Township.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said he was driving a 1997 Toyota Avalon north on Route 115 when he turned into the path of a southbound 2017 Nissan Sentra that was driven by Jonathan M. Olivieri, 28, of Dingmans Ferry, and the two vehicles collided in the intersection.

Police said Toolsee possibly suffered injuries but refused a transport by the West End Ambulance personnel.

Olivieri was not injured.

Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene, police said.
