Driver issued citation after two-vehicle crash
Bryon M. Rusinko, 19, of Ashland, was cited by state police at the Frackville barracks for careless driving after a two-vehicle crash at 6 p.m. Friday on Route 4024 in Butler Township.
Police said he was driving a Honda Civic westbound when the driver failed to observe a 2013 Volvo S60 that had entered the roadway from Kehler’s Gun Shop.
The Honda struck the rear of the Volvo, causing it to spin around and come to rest in the eastbound lane, facing east.
Police said the Volvo was operated by David P. Zaleski, 57, who sustained a minor arm injury and was transported to the Geisinger Hospital, Shamokin, by the Ashland EMS.
