Driver leaves scene of two-vehicle I-81 crash

No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14 on Interstate 81 in Kline Township. State police at the Frackville barracks said one of the drivers left the scene.

The incident happened when a 2012 Hyundai operated by Alexandra R. Francis, 24, of Port Carbon was southbound and another vehicle, whose driver left the scene, went out of control while traveling over the bridge north of the McAdoo ramp. Police said the Hyundai struck the bridge and came to a stop in the right lane while the other vehicle, which was also traveling south in the passing lane, struck the Hyundai, causing minor damages.
