Drugs, firearms found during search

State police at Lehighton and members of the Pocono Mountain Regional police reported serving a search warrant Tuesday around 8:45 a.m. in the 1400 block of Koch Road in Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

As a result drugs, drug paraphernalia and firearms were seized from the residence. Several individuals were taken into custody and interviewed. One woman was wanted by the county sheriff’s office.

Troopers, who did not release any names or other information, said the investigation is continuing.
