DUI patrols set for holiday

State police at the Lehighton barracks will be conducting stationary and roving DUI patrols over the Memorial Day weekend as part of the state police traffic enforcement against drunken driving (STEAD D) program.

The patrols will be conducted during from Friday though Monday. Motorists are reminded to be alert, wear their safety belts, obey all traffic signs, avoid the use of hand held devices and drive sober.
