A local business owner’s dump trailer was stolen from a work site in Albrightsville sometime between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.

Michelle Sheckler, wife of Bryan Sheckler of Sheckler Electrical and Contracting LLC in Kunkletown, shared a post on Facebook concerning the missing piece of equipment on Thursday afternoon.

“I need help from the community. Yesterday afternoon my husband dropped off his work dump trailer to a job site in Towamensing Trails near Lipo Way. He returned this morning at 7:30 to find out someone has stolen it,” Sheckler’s post read.

The Shecklers contacted state police and the security office at Towamensing Trails to report the theft, though they were told there was little to be done outside of filing a report.

It isn’t the first time that Sheckler has had equipment stolen. Just last October, all of the tools and a pallet of flooring were taken from another job site.

A reward will be offered for any information leading to the location of the trailer. Anyone with information regarding the missing trailer can contact the Shecklers at 570-656-1671 or 570-656-1670.
