East Stroudsburg man faces sex exploitation charges

Daniel Siegfried, 43, of East Stroudsburg, is facing charges of sexual exploitation of children that were filed against him by state police at the Stroudsburg barracks.

Police said the incidents took place between Nov. 1, 2018, and Feb. 19 of this year in the 400 block of Schoolhouse Road, East Stroudsburg, and involved two 13-year-old girls.

Police said it is alleged Siegfried had inappropriate communications with the minors through social media. The minors reported having sexual communications with Siegfried, including the exchange of photographs.

Police executed search warrants on Siegfried’s social media accounts, electronic devices and his residence before filing the charges.
