In honor of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month in October, ETA Benefits Group will be collecting supplies for the Carbon County Animal Shelter at their office now through Oct. 16. Some items that are needed include: soft and hard treats, dog leashes, collars, canned dog food, bleach and Pine Sol, laundry detergent, trash bags and dog toys.

Items can be dropped off during regular business hours at ETA’s office at 75 W. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
