Fall 4-H Clover Campaign starts in Carbon County

Published October 15. 2019 12:31PM

Tractor Supply Company, in partnership with the National 4-H Council, is holding the 4-H Paper Clover campaign through Oct. 20. This semiannual effort provides millions of dollars in scholarships for 4-H youth.

Paper clovers are available for purchase at checkouts through Sunday, and 90% of the funds collected directly benefit the Carbon County 4-H program.

The donations provide opportunities for youth to attend camp, conferences and other leadership programs where they experience hands-on learning and develop the skills needed to become productive citizens and lifelong leaders.

Shoppers are invited to stop by Tractor Supply in Lehighton from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday to purchase clovers. The 4-H Ambassadors and the 4-H development committee will be selling baked goods, hot dogs and drinks with all of the proceeds going to the Rachel Hoffmeier 4-H Scholarship fund.
