Fern Ridge reports on incidents
State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following incidents.
Troopers said at 4:57 p.m. Feb. 3 they responded to a report of person sleeping in a running vehicle at a gas pump for two hours off Route 115 at State Road in Chestnuthill Township, with the windshield wipers running on a dry windshield.
Troopers identified as Matthew Page, 31, of Kunkletown. He was found to be under the influence and in possession of illegal contraband, troopers said.
Page was taken into custody and transported to the DUI center for processing where he submitted to a blood draw.
He is facing DUI of a controlled substance and related charges.
Troopers reported that Paul Ortiz, 42, of Brodheadsville, has been charged with criminal mischief.
Troopers said Ortiz placed 23 nails in the driveway of a 43-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman located along Wisteria Way in Chestnuthill Township, in an attempt to cause damage to the victim’s 2005 GMC. The incident occurred on Feb. 13.
